HLA-DRB1 (MHC II) [LN3]
Description HLA-DRB1 belongs to the HLA class II beta chain paralogs. Known as MHC class II antigen DRB1*15. The class II molecule is a heterodimer consisting of an alpha (DRA) and a beta chain (DRB), both anchored in the membrane. It plays a central role in the immune system by presenting peptides derived from extracellular proteins. HLA-DRB1 is expressed mainly on antigen-presenting cells, such as B lymphocytes, monocytes and dendritic cells but can also be detected on activated T lymphocytes and activated granulocytes. In abnormal tissues, it has been found in different types of acute lymphoblastic leukaemias and acute myeloid leukaemias. Additionally, HLADR was also found in some nonhemato, including carcinomas of the colon and breast. (Shipping Cost: €200.00) Host Mouse Application Flow cytometry (FC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blot (WB) Reactivity Human, Monkey -
INSM2 [MD155]
Description INSM2 (insulinoma-associated 2), also known as IA-6, is related to IA-1 (INSM1), a zinc-finger factor that is expressed in the developing nervous system. While the exact function of IA-6 is not known, other related insulinoma-associated proteins such as IA-2 are major autoantigens in type 1 diabetes. The homology exhibited by IA-6 to IA-1 has led to speculation that IA-6 may also play a role in the regulation of gene transcription. INSM2 may function as a growth suppressor or tumor suppressor in liver cells and in certain neurons. (Shipping Cost: €200.00) Host Mouse Application Flow cytometry (FC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Reactivity Human -

KIR7.1/KCNJ13 [C12]
Description Inward rectifier K(+) channel Kir7.1 ( inwardly rectifying subfamily J member 13/KCNJ13) predominantly expressed in small intestine. Expression is also detected in stomach, kidney, and all central nervous system regions tested with the exception of spinal cord. Kir7.1 is characterized by a greater tendency to allow potassium to flow into the cell rather than out of it. Their voltage dependence is regulated by the concentration of extracellular potassium; as external potassium is raised, the voltage range of the channel opening shifts to more positive voltages. The inward rectification is mainly due to the blockage of outward current by internal magnesium. Kir7.1 has a very low single channel conductance, low sensitivity to block by external barium and cesium, and no dependence of its inward rectification properties on the internal blocking particle magnesium. (Shipping Cost: €200.00) Host Mouse Application ELISA, Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Western Blot (WB) Reactivity Human, Mouse, Rat -
Langerin/CD207 [12D6]
Description Langerhans cells (LCs) are a subset of immature dendritic cells (DCs) that specifically localize in the epidermis and other mucosal epithelia. Epidermal LCs possess strong immunostimulatory capacity and play a central role in the initiation and regulation of immune responses. Langerin (CD207) is a Ca2+-dependent, C-type lectin domain-containing, type II transmembrane protein that induces epidermal LCs to differentiate into Birbeck granules (BG). BGs are organelles with superimposing and zippering membranes that influence proper class I type antigen presentation to the circulating T-cells. Human spleen, lymph node, thymus, liver, lung and heart express langerin protein. Langerin protein expression has utility in differentiating Langerhans cell histiocytosis from other non-Langerhans cell histiocytic proliferations. MDR1/ABCB1/P-Glycoprotein [D-11]
Description Multi-Drug Resistance Marker (P-Glycoprotein) is a 170 kD cell membrane protein of the multi-drug resistance gene, MDR-1. Studies have linked the presence of P-Glycoprotein with resistance to a wide variety of chemotherapeutic agents. P-Glycoprotein is also found in various concentrations in most normal tissues, suggesting that the primary role for this protein is in normal secretion of physiological metabolites. Mesothelin (Mesothelial Marker) [MSLN/2131]
Description The mesothelin gene encodes a 69-kDa precursor protein that is processed to a 40-kDa glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored protein, the mature mesothelin, present on the cell surface. Its biological function is not known, but recent studies have shown that it forms a strong and specific complex with MUC16; a binding which has been suggested to be the basis of ovarian cancer metastasis. Mesothelin is present on normal mesothelial cells lining the pleura, peritoneum, and pericardium. In tumors, overexpression of Mesothelin has been observed in mesotheliomas, and other tumors including ovarian, pancreatic carcinomas, and cholangiocarcinoma. By using immunotoxin targeting immunotherapy, mesothelin has also been reported as a new therapeutic target in various types of cancers, such as human cholangiocarcinoma.
