    CD45 (LCA) [2B11&PD7/26]

Description CD45, Leucocyte Common Antigen (LCA), is expressed on most nucleated cells of haematopoietic origin and has various isoforms. The anti-CD45 antibody labels CD45 in both normal and neoplastic cells, is a useful tool for identifying tumor cells of lymphoid origin. CD45 is routinely used to aid the differential diagnosis of undifferentiated neoplasms, whenever malignant lymphoma is suspected by the morphologic clinical data. Certain types of lymphoid neoplasms may lack CD45 expression (Hodgkin’s disease, some T-cell lymphomas, some leukemias). (Shipping Cost: €200.00)

    CD45RA [111-1C5]

Description CD45 or Leukocyte Common Antigen (LCA/T200) belongs to a family of membrane sialoglycoproteins with MW of 180kDa-220kDa. Human CD45 contains three exons which encode peptidesegments designated A, B and C, respectively. The differential splicing of the exons generates various isoforms. CD45RA.is a single chain glycoprotein. It is expressed on appoximately 40-50% of peripheral CD4+ T-cells, 50% of peripheral CD8+ T-cells, B-cells, and leukemic B-cell lines. T-cells expressing CD45RA and CD45RO define complementary, predominantly non-overlapping populations of resting peripheral T-cells. CD45RA are naive orvirgin T-cells while, T-cells expressing CD45RO are memory T-cells. (Shipping Cost: €200.00)

    CD45RB [BRA-11G]

Description CD45, a transmembrane multifunctional glycoprotein, is a member of Type I receptor-linked PTPase family and is expressed as multiple isoforms due to alternative splicing. Expression of these isoforms is highly regulated and shift in this expression determines T-cell activation. CD45RB consists of exon B and is predominantly expressed in naive T-cells secreting IL-2. Its expression is low in primed/memory T cells, cells that express Th2 cytokines such as IL-4 and IL-10 and population of T-cells with regulatory function. Immunotherapy with CD45RB antibody is being widely studied in transplantation and vaccination. CD45 antibodies are commonly used to identify tumors of lymphoid origin. (Shipping Cost: €200.00)

    CD47/IAP (Integrin Associated Protein) [CD47/2937]

Description This antibody reacts with Ig domain of CD47 protein. It has been shown to inhibit polymorphonuclear neutrophil (PMN) transmigration across cell monolayers and matrix. CD47, originally named integrin-associated protein (IAP), is a 50kDa protein containing five membrane-spanning sequences and a short cytoplasmic tail. CD47 plays a role in both cell adhesion by acting as an adhesion receptor for THBS1 on platelets, and in the modulation of integrins. It is important in memory formation and synaptic plasticity in the hippocampus. CD47 may play a role in membrane transport and/or integrin dependent signal transduction. (Shipping Cost: €200.00)

    CD48 [MD134]

Description CD48 (BLAST1) is an activation-associated, glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored cell surface glycoprotein expressed primarily in mitogen-stimulated human lymphocytes. CD48 is expressed on T cells, B cells, thymocytes and splenocytes. Both normal and malignant white blood cells express CD48 on their membrane surface, but greater than 95% of CD34+ hematopoietic stem cells do not express CD48. CD48 is expressed at higher levels on human Burkitt's lymphoma cell lines, Raji and most acute myeloid leukemia cells with phenotype CD34-/CD13+/CD33+. Although much remains to be elucidated, CD48 is a critical marker for human immunity, and will most likely be of use in the treatment of many diseases like hematopoietic tumors, autoimmunity, allergy and chronic inflammatory diseases.
