    INSM1 [A8]

Description Insulinoma-associated 1 or INSM1/IA1 is a zinc-finger transcription factor restrictedly expressed in pancreatic β-cells during early pancreas development. INSM1/IA1 regulates NeruoD1/β2 and insulin gene expression during β-cell maturation. INSM1 transcription factor, an important player in early embryonic neurogenesis, contributes to endocrine and neuroendocrine cell differentiation. INSM1 is expressed transiently in embryonic neuroendocrine (NE) tissue, thought to coordinate termination of cell division with differentiation of NE and neuroepithelial cells. In adult tissues, INSM1 has been identified in multiple tumors of NE or neuroepithelial origin and might be a potential neoplastic marker. (Shipping Cost: €200.00)

    Internexin Alpha/NF66 [2E3]

Description Alpha–internexin is an intermediate filament family member expressed during early neuron development and is related to the neurofilament proteins NF-H, NF-L and NF-M. Due to the specific spatial and temporal expression pattern of alpha-internexin, it is a useful marker of neuronal subtypes. It is related to but distinct from the better known neurofilament triplet proteins, NF-L, NF-M and NF-H, having similar protein sequence motifs and a similar intron organization. It is expressed in large amounts early in neuronal development, but is downregulated in many neurons as development proceeds. Many classes of mature neurons contain alpha-internexin in addition to NF-L, NF-M and NF-H. In some mature neurons alpha-internexin is the only neurofilament subunit expressed. Antibodies to a-internexin are therefore unique probes to study and classify neuronal types and follow their processes in sections and in tissue culture. The very early developmental expression of alpha-internexin means its pr

    IPO-38 (Proliferation Marker) [IPO38]

Description Recognizes a protein of 14-16kDa, which is a novel nuclear antigen of proliferating cells. IPO-38 antigen is present in the nuclei of proliferating cells such as Hodgkin s disease and non-Hodgkin s lymphomas, different forms of leukemias, breast and colorectal carcinomas, and PHA-stimulated lymphocytes. It is not expressed in the cells of non-stimulated lymphocytes and granulocytes. IPO-38 may be a useful marker of cell proliferation during monitoring of tumor progression. (Shipping Cost: €200.00)

    Kappa Light Chain [HP6053]

Description Each immunoglobulin molecule consists of two identical heavy chains and two identical light chains. There are two types of light chains designated as kappa and lambda. The gene rearrangement process that generates the immunoglobulin molecule results in either a productive kappa gene or a productive lambda gene. The mechanics of the rearrangement process normally produce approximately twice as many kappa-bearing cells as lambda. However this ratio loses during malignant transformation. The kappa light chain antibody labels kappa light chain expressing B lymphocytes and plasma cells. Other cells may also express kappa light chain due to nonspecific uptake of immunoglobulin. Individual B cells express either kappa or lambda light chains. Monoclonality is generally assumed to be evidence of a malignant proliferation. Paired with lambda, kappa light chain is useful in identifying monoclonality of lymphoid malignancies. (Shipping Cost: €200.00)
