Actin Muscle Specific [MSA/953]
Description This antibody recognizes all muscular actin isotypes. It labels myoepithelial, smooth muscle, skeletal, cardiac muscle cells and leiomyomas. It has been reported to react with pericytes and reactive myofibroblasts. Positive staining cells have been reported in some sarcomas, representing either myofibroblasts or pericytes components. Using this antibody with other myogenic markers such as smooth muscle a ctin, desmin and vimentin will be very helpful for differentiation of tumor from muscle origin. Clone HHF35 has been demonstrated to be reliable marker for soft tissue tumors with muscle differentiation, i.e. leiomyomas, leiomyosarcomas, and rhabdomyosarcomas. (Shipping Cost: €200.00) Host Mouse Application Flow cytometry (FC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blot (WB) Reactivity Human, Rabbit, Rat -

ALDH1A1 (Aldehyde Dehydrogenase 1A1) [ALDH1A1/1381]
Description ALDH1A1 belongs to the ALDH enzymes, a family of evolutionarily conserved enzymes comprised of 19 isoforms that are localized in the cytoplasm, mitochondria or nucleus. ALDH1A1 is predominantly expressed in the epithelium of testis, brain, eye, liver, kidney, as well as neural and hematopoietic stem cells. Reportedly, high ALDH1A1 expression is found in solitary fibrous tumor (SFT) and hemangiopericytoma (HPC), compared to meningiomas and synovial sarcomas. In combination with CD34, ALDH1A1 may be useful for the differentiation among SFT, HPC, meningioma, and synovial sarcoma. (Shipping Cost: €200.00) Host Mouse Application Flow cytometry (FC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blot (WB) Reactivity Human -

Alpha-1-Antichymotrypsin (SERPINA3) [AACT/1451]
Description Alpha-1-Antichymotrypsin (ACT) is a serine protease inhibitor. It forms a complex with serine protease, a prostate-specific antigen in human serum. ACT can be found in most cells of myeloid lineage and is, therefore, useful in the identification of neoplastic myeloid cells within extramedullary tissues such as acute myeloid leukemia. This enzyme is also localized in the spindle cells and round cells of true histiocytic lymphomas as well as in most thyroid papillary carcinomas. ACT is expressed in various normal and neoplastic cells. (Shipping Cost: €200.00) Host Mouse Application Flow cytometry (FC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blot (WB) Reactivity Human -

Alpha-1-Antitrypsin (SERPINA1) [AAT/1378]
Description It recognizes a protein of 54kDa, which is identified antitrypsin (AAT). The immunohistochemical staining of AAT is useful in identification of benign and malignant hepatic tumors and yolk sac carcinomas. Positive staining for AAT is also used in detection of benign and malignant lesions of histiocytic nature. This antibody is may also useful tool in the screening of patients with cryptogenic cirrhosis or other forms of liver disease with fibrosis of uncertain origin.
