    MUC4 [8G7]

Description MUC4 is a high molecular weight glycoprotein that plays an important role in cell proliferation and differentiation of epithelial cells. The MUC4 gene is expressed in various normal epithelial tissues of endodermic origin and carcinomas derived from these tissues. MUC4 antibody labels normal epithelial cells in the trachea, GI tract and prostate, but not in the pancreas. Increased expression of MUC4 has been observed in pancreatic carcinoma and cervical squamous carcinoma. MUC4 is helpful in differentiating lung adenocarcinoma (positive) from malignant mesothelioma (negative). Additionally, MUC4 is useful in the identification of low-grade fibromyxoid sarcoma (LGFMS), and sclerosing epithelioid fibrosarcoma. (Shipping Cost: €200.00)

    MVH/DDX4/VASA [2F9H5]

Description MVH or DDX4 or VASA is a 724 amino acid, ATP-dependent RNA helicase that belongs to the DEAD-box family. MVH is specifically expressed in germline cells throughout the life cycle and is undetectable in somatic tissues. In vertebrates, MVH is restricted to bisexually reproducing organisms. It is cytoplasmic and is present only in migratory primordial germ cells in the region of the gonadal ridge. On testicular sections, MVH expression is the highest in spermatogonia, reduced in spermatocytes, low in spermatids and absent in sperm. In the ovary, MVH expression is the highest in oogonia but persists throughout oogenesis. MVH has a glycine-rich N-terminus with multiple repeats of an RGG motif believed to function in RNA binding. Specifically, it regulates the translation of intricate mRNAs that are essential for differentiation. (Shipping Cost: €200.00)

    NeuN [A60]

Description NeuN antibody specifically recognizes the DNA-binding, neuron-specific protein NeuN, which is present in most CNS and PNS neuronal cell types of all vertebrates tested. NeuN protein distributions are apparently restricted to neuronal nuclei, perikarya and some proximal neuronal processes in both fetal and adult brain although, some neurons fail to be recognized by NeuN at all ages: INL retinal cells, Cajal-Retzius cells, Purkinje cells, inferior olivary and dentate nucleus neurons, and sympathetic ganglion cells are examples. Immunohistochemically detectable NeuN protein first appears at developmental timepoints that correspond with the withdrawal of the neuron from the cell cycle and/or with the initiation of terminal differentiation of the neuro. Immunoreactivity appears around E9.5 in the mouse neural tube and is extensive throughout the developing nervous system by E12.5. Strong nuclear staining suggests a nuclear regulatory protein function; however, no evidence currently exists a

    NM23-H1 [NM301]

Description Non-metastatic protein 23 homolog 1; also NDKA or NM23-H1 is a 19‑20 kDa member of the NDK family of enzymes. NM23-H1 is ubiquitous in expression and performs multiple functions. It forms disulfide-linked homohexamers, and heterohexamers with NM23-H2, generating a nucleoside diphosphate kinase that catalyzes a phosphoryl transfer from ATP to a nucleoside diphosphate. It also shows His and Ser/Thr protein kinase activity and forms covalent linkages with molecules diverse as p53 and STRAP. It is found both intracellularly and in blood at ng/mL concentrations. Human NM23-H1 is 152 amino acids (aa) in length, contains one NDP kinase domain (aa 5‑134), and shows acetylation at Ala2 and Lys56, plus phosphorylation at Tyr52, Thr94, Ser122, and Ser125. Human NM23-H1 shares 89% aa identity with human 17‑18 kDa NM23-H2. The NM23 gene, a potential suppressor of metastasis, was originally identified by differential hybridization between two murine melanoma sub-lines, one with a high and the second

    NTR3/Sortilin [G11]

Description Neurotensin (NT) initiates an intracellular response by interacting with the G protein-coupled receptors NTR1 (NTS1 receptor, high affinity NTR) and NTR2 (NTS2 receptor, levocabastine-sensitive neurotensin receptor), and the type I receptor NTR3 (NTS3 receptor, sortilin-1, Gp95). NT has a wide distribution in regions of the brain and in peripheral tissues where NT receptors can contribute to hypotension, hyperglycemia, hypothermia, antinociception and regulation of intestinal motility and secretion. HL-60 cells express NTR1, which can couple to Gq, Gi/o, or Gs. Alternative splicing of rat NTR2 can generate a 5-transmembrane domain variant isoform that is co-expressed with the fulllength NTR2 throughout the brain and spinal cord. NTR3 activation in the murine microglial cell line N11 induces MIP-2, (Shipping Cost: €200.00)
