ABCG2/BCRP/CD338 [B1]
Description Breast Cancer Resistance Protein (BCRP) is a 70 kDa ATP-Binding Cassette membrane transport protein involved in multidrug resistance. BCRP may be over-expressed in cancer cell lines selected with doxorubicin / verapamil, topotecan or mitoxantrone. Xenobiotic transporter that may play an important role in the exclusion of xenobiotics from the brain. May be involved in brain-to-blood efflux. Appears to play a major role in the multidrug resistance phenotype of several cancer cell lines. When overexpressed, the transfected cells become resistant to mitoxantrone, daunorubicin and doxorubicin, display diminished intracellular accumulation of daunorubicin, and manifest an ATP-dependent increase in the efflux of rhodamine 123. Actin alpha Sarcomeric [5C5]
Description Actin is a cytoskeletal protein that regulates cell motility, secretion, phagocytosis and cytokinesis. The NH2-terminal of actin may function as antigen. This terminal may also modulate actin interactions and may associate with proteins such as myosin. This antibody is specific for α-skeletal and α-cardiac muscle actins as characterized by ELISA, immunoblot and immunohistochemistry. The antibody shows wide species cross reactivity with tissue from human, sheep, bovine, rabbit, guinea pig, rat, frog, snake, and carp. However, it does not react with smooth muscle tissue. (Shipping Cost: €200.00) Host Mouse Application Immunocytochemistry (ICC),Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Western Blot (WB) Reactivity Human, Sheep, Bovine, Rabbit, Guinea Pig, Rat, Frog, Snake, Carp -

Amyloid Beta 1-40 [20.1]
Description Proteolytic cleavage of the amyloid protein precursor (APP) gives rise to the β-Amyloid and Amyloid A4 proteins, which are present in human platelets. Amyloid deposition is associated with type II diabetes, Down syndrome and a variety of neurological disorders, including Alzheimer’s disease. The amyloid precursor protein (APP) undergoes alternative splicing, resulting in several isoforms. Proteolytic cleavage of APP leads to the formation of the 4 kDa β-Amyloid/A4 protein. This protein is involved in the formation of neurofibrillary tangles and plaques that characterize the senile plaques of Alzheimer’s patients. APLP1 (amyloid precursor-like protein 1) and APLP2 are structurally similar to APP. Human APLP2 is a membrane-bound sperm protein that contains a region highly homologous to the transmembrane-cytoplasmic domains of APP found in brain plaques of Alzheimer’s disease patients.
