MUC5AC [45M1]
Description Mucins are high molecular eight glycoproteins with 80% carbohydrate contents and the remaining 20% is constituted by protein core. Gastric mucin M1 antigens are detected/found in columnar mucus cells of surface gastric epithelium and in goblet cells of the fetal and precancerous colon but not in those of normal colon. Evidence from the literature suggestes that they are associated with the peptide core of mucins Resurgence of gastric mucin reactivity during colonic carcinogenesis is suggested to be due to either reexpression of the peptide core of gastric (or fetal colonic) mucins in the adult colon or due to changes in the glycosylation pattern of mucin which expose the hidden M1 antigens. (Shipping Cost: €200.00) Host Mouse Application Flow cytometry (FC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Reactivity Human -

MUC6 [CLH5]
Description Mucin 6 (Muc-6 Glycoprotein). Mucins are heavily glycosylated glycoproteins, which constitute the major components of mucus which cover the surface of epithelial tissues. Nine distinct epithelial mucin genes (Muc-1, 2, 3, 4, 5AC, 5B, 6,7 and 8) have been identified. Various immunohistochemical and in situ hybridization studies have shown that these mucins are differentially expressed in epithelia with cell-type specificity. Muc-5AC and Muc-6 glycoproteins are the first two mucins found in superficial epithelium and Muc-6 glycoprotein is found in the deep glands. (Shipping Cost: €200.00) Host Mouse Application Flow cytometry (FC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Reactivity Human -

Musashi1 (Msi1) [69-Q]
Description Detected in fetal kidney, brain, liver and lung, and in adult brain and pancreas. Detected in hepatoma cell lines. RNA binding protein that regulates the expression of target mRNAs at the translation level. Regulates expression of the NOTCH1 antagonist NUMB. Binds RNA containing the sequence 5'-GUUAGUUAGUUAGUU-3' and other sequences containing the pattern 5'-[GA]U(1-3)AGU-3'. May play a role in the proliferation and maintenance of stem cells in the central nervous system. (Shipping Cost: €200.00) Host Mouse Application ELISA, Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Western Blot (WB) Reactivity Human, Mouse, Rat -

MVH/DDX4/VASA [2F9H5]
Description MVH or DDX4 or VASA is a 724 amino acid, ATP-dependent RNA helicase that belongs to the DEAD-box family. MVH is specifically expressed in germline cells throughout the life cycle and is undetectable in somatic tissues. In vertebrates, MVH is restricted to bisexually reproducing organisms. It is cytoplasmic and is present only in migratory primordial germ cells in the region of the gonadal ridge. On testicular sections, MVH expression is the highest in spermatogonia, reduced in spermatocytes, low in spermatids and absent in sperm. In the ovary, MVH expression is the highest in oogonia but persists throughout oogenesis. MVH has a glycine-rich N-terminus with multiple repeats of an RGG motif believed to function in RNA binding. Specifically, it regulates the translation of intricate mRNAs that are essential for differentiation. Myeloid Associated Differentiation Marker [MYADM/972]
Description Recognizes a myeloid associated differentiation antigen in the cytoplasm of mature granulocytes. It shows no reactivity with any other cell type in human tissues. Markers of myeloid cells are useful in the identification of different levels of cellular differentiation. It reacts with early precursor and mature forms of human and monkey myeloid cells. This MAb is useful for the detection of myeloid leukemias and granulocytic sarcomas. It can be used as a marker of granulocytes in normal tissues or inflammatory processes. (Shipping Cost: €200.00) Host Mouse Application Flow cytometry (FC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Reactivity Human, Macaque -
